ONE forms group to acquire Seaspan parent company for $10.9 billion

Recently, Atlas Corporation, the parent company of Seaspan Corporation, the world’s largest independent container ship owner, has agreed to a combined takeover offer of approximately US$10.9 billion by existing shareholders and Japan Ocean Networking Shipping (ONE).
