China's auto production and sales in January fell by more than 30% year-on-year

Recently, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, domestic automobile production and sales in January were 1.594 million and 1.649 million, respectively, a decrease of 33.1% and 35.5% from the previous month, and a decrease of 34.3% and 35% from the same period last year. Compared with February, the Spring Festival month of 2022, automobile production and sales will decrease by 12.1% and 5.1% respectively.
