In the first half of this year, Shanghai's service trade and digital trade import and export volume both increased year-on-year

It is reported that in 2021, Shanghai's service trade imports and exports reached US$229.41 billion, up 49.5% year-on-year, with a record high scale and growth rate, while digital trade imports and exports amounted to US$56.88 billion, up 31.2% year-on-year. In the first half of this year, Shanghai's trade in services and digital trade overcame the adverse impact of the epidemic to achieve imports and exports of $123.96 billion and $28.99 billion respectively, up 24.2% and 9.7% year-on-year, showing the resilience of development against the trend of growth.
