In 2022, Fujian's port cargo throughput will exceed 700 million tons for the first time

A few days ago, according to the Fujian Provincial Department of Transportation, in 2022, the province's port cargo throughput will exceed 700 million tons for the first time, reaching 714 million tons. 

The province's coastal ports completed a container throughput of 18 million TEUs. 10 new projects have been started in coastal ports, 9 new berths with 10,000-ton level have been added, and the cargo throughput capacity of the port has reached 17.63 million tons. 

There are 47 new shipping companies, with a shipping capacity of 2.05 million deadweight tons, and the province's shipping capacity exceeds 18.5 million tons.
